Congregational & Community Cohorts

The Black Mountain School of Theology & Community is committed to innovative and community-based education. Our congregational cohorts are based on a 2-yr Theological Action Research process designed to help your congregation or community thrive. 

  • 2yr process that includes 5 concentrated trainings (4–6mos “work” periods in between).

  • Involves a team of 5-7 leaders from your congregation/community 

  • Training in skills of community organizing, qualitative observation and research, theological inquiry, and action-oriented discernment

  • Includes monthly coaching
    Includes 2 site visits by our faculty
    Cost: $20,000*
