Tim has worked for over three decades in pastoral ministry, community organizing, and academics leading congregations, organizing communities, graduate schools, and social movements. He is the founding pastor of Emmaus Way in Durham, NC. and holds adjunct appointments at UNC Chapel Hill and Shaw University Divinity School. He is a Co-Founder and Co-President of the Black Mountain School.
